Welcome to Value & Dividends – a value investment research and analyst briefing centered around The Value Dividend Strategy.
The Value Dividend Strategy is an investment strategy which is not only looking at whether a stock is undervalued but also at how high the dividend the stock pays is.
I stumbled upon this investment strategy as part of my bachelor thesis in which I looked specifically not only at undervalued stocks but furthermore at undervalued stocks which pay a significant dividend or no dividend at all.
What I found was crucial: undervalued stocks which pay a significantly high dividend and undervalued stocks which pay no dividend at all, outperformed the average value portfolio and the larger index they were part of.
Due to these spectacular results, I decided to transform my bachelor thesis into a book which was published in November 2022 under the title “The Value Dividend Strategy – How to find Undervalued Stocks That Outperform the Market”.

After a couple of hundreds of books were sold over the past seven months, I already received a handful of requests to expand and regularly update the Value-Dividend-Portfolios, and to provide performance updates.
I never thought that I’d turn what I stumbled upon in my bachelor thesis into a career. But the fact The Value Dividend Strategy worked in the past and seems to be a very promising and relevant value investment strategy for stormy waters ahead. This is why I decided to establish this Value & Dividends investment research and analyst newsletter and blog.
